History for the FUN of it!
The Onarga Historical Society will present: The Burning of Atlanta ... the Day that Dixie Died on Tuesday, July 22nd beginning at 7 pm at the Onarga Theater. Guest speakers are father and son, Brian and Daniel Flora. The destruction of Atlanta in September, 1864, and General Sherman's march to the sea crushed the heart of the Confederacy and marked the beginning of the end of the Confederate States of America. Join us for an interesting evening of history ... the program is free of charge and refreshments will be served immediately following the program at the OHS.
