World-Class Pianist Adam Patrick Moore: A Concert Of Thanksgiving
On Wednesday evening November 27 at 7:00pm inside the newly constructed Onarga Christian Church, world-class world-traveled pianist Adam Patrick Moore will help Onarga Christian Church finish out its festival of prayer and fasting with his performance of 'A Concert of Thanksgiving' which will feature vocal and piano music from all genres and styles. This special performance will be a fundraising event for which there will be no cover charge but at which a free-will donation will be collected with all proceeds going towards the Onarga Christian Church building fund. Following the performance, the church will host a large party with refreshments being served.

Moore was raised in Onarga by his late adoptive parents Norman and Faye, attended school at Iroquois West and Christ Lutheran High School, and was a young member of Onarga Christian Church for the years of his youth. Moore was heavily encouraged by his dad Norman to develop a love for the Lord and a love for music, went on to obtain proficiency on over a dozen instruments, specialized in piano and keyboard, and earned his bachelors degree in music from Olivet Nazarene University in Bourbonnais. Moore accumulated years of experience throughout Chicago and the rest of Illinois filling many different musical roles. Moore served as accompanist and repetiteur for many school district music programs including Kankakee School District 10, Bradley-Bourbonnais Community High School, Iroquois West, and Champaign Central High School. Moore served as a rehearsal accompanist and pit orchestra conductor for stage musicals with live theatre companies including Country Theatre Workshop in Cissna Park, Station Theatre in Champaign-Urbana, and Champaign-Urbana Theatre Company. Moore served as an interdenominational music minister, choral director, and church pianist for numerous church music programs including Onarga Christian Church, Kankakee First Church of God, River Valley Christian Fellowship, Genesis Community Ministries, American Lutheran Church, and Bradley Wesley United Methodist. Moore served as an innovative studio musician for recording artistes covering all genres and styles in studios such as Studio G Recording. Moore has performed nationally at such events as the Abraham Lincoln Bicentennial in Washington D.C. and at places like the Crystal Cathedral in California, has performed internationally at such events as the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in Scotland, has performed and been interviewed on live television and radio on multiple occasions, has had some of his recordings shipped as far as Afghanistan to the United States soldiers and broadcast on radio waves as far away as Australia, and has posted some of his videos on his official YouTube site at where his videos have received a total of nearly 75,000 views from worldwide viewers. In August of 2011, Moore relocated to southwestern Florida where he has been employed as pianist / assistant music director at Crossroads Baptist Church in Fort Myers (rated among the top 4% of evangelical churches in the United States by Billy Graham Ministries) and where he has also filled the positions of pianist, vocal coach, and orchestra conductor for stage musicals at Venice Theatre (the third largest community theatre in the United States) and the internationally acclaimed Lemon Bay High School in Englewood. In April 2012, Moore happily married his beautiful beloved wife Peggy who has displayed much courage and strength in her ongoing battle with stage four leiomyosarcoma uterine cancer. Adam Patrick Moore and his wife Peggy will be marking off something special on Peggy's 'bucket list' when they tour Chicago and the rest of Illinois during Thanksgiving week. Adam looks forward to returning to Onarga, visiting his old family home and the grave of his parents, and performing this special concert at Onarga Christian Church.
