Iroquois West High School will be hosting their third annual Raider Idol competition, this Friday, January 11 at 7:00 in the IWHS gym in Gilman! This event will be in the style of the popular television show, American Idol, as students will perform solos and receive comments from celebrity judges. This year's judges will be Don Elliott from WGFA and local music teachers Brad Seffner and Jessica Collier. There will be two winners at the end of the evening: the judges' pick and a 'popular vote' winner, the student who collects the most donations after the performances. Admission to Raider Idol is $3 for adults and $2 for students. All proceeds benefit the IWHS Band & Chorus trip to St. Louis this May.
