'Johnny Appleseed's Birthday Celebration', a program for children, will be held on Thursday, September 20, at the Watseka Public Library. Ongoing activities from 4:00-5:00 p.m. include apple crafts, face painting, and enjoying apple treats. Johnny Appleseed (portrayed by Roger Bard) will share some of the 'core facts' about his life and his apples. An adult must accompany children in first grade and younger. No sign-up is needed.
