Rummage/Bake Sale at St John's Lutheran Church, 308 N Front St, Danforth IL. (enter on west side of church) Thursday, Sept. 26th, 8am to 5pm and Friday, September 27th, 8am to 6pm. Something for everyone plus delicious home-baked goodies!

Children 2-5 years of age are invited to talk about things that make us happy and offer a feeling of peace. We will learn about peace doves and create our own peaceful places.

Everyone is aging, and many changes happen along the way - physically, mentally, and financially - in about every aspect of our lives. This lesson will examine some of those changes and how to adopt a more accepting mindset that will result in improved well-being and possibly new opportunities!

Buckley townwide garage sales will be held September 27 & 28.

St. John's Ladies Aid/LWML of Buckley will have a bake sale and garage sale on Friday September 27, 8 a.m.-5 p.m. and Saturday September 28, 8 a.m. - 1 p.m. at the Buckley American Legion.

Watseka Fire Association Fundraiser Openhouse on September 28, from 4p - 8p at the Watseka Fire Dept. (201 N. Fifth, Watseka).  $6 for a meal and $4 for a burger.  

Tasty fried chicken dinner with all the trimmings! 

Pancake breakfast fundraiser with pancakes, biscuits and gravy, and sausage served. 7am- noon at the fire station in Papineau, 100 E Taylor street. $8/adults, $6/children, ages 5 and under eat free. 

Monsters DO NOT have to be scary. Monsters can be FUN! We are going to check out all of the FUN things about monsters and what they can share with us. This program is ideal for ages 2-5.
