The U-S District Court at Urbana imposed lengthy federal prison sentences for two Kankakee County men convicted of crack cocaine distribution. 28-year-old Gene Sutton Jr. of St. Anne was sentenced to 15 years in the federal Bureau of Prisons. Sutton was arrested in December of 2006 by KAMEG and DEA agents after a 2-month investigation. Sutton plead guilty last November. A Bourbonnais man, 39-year-old Anthony Cunningham, was sentenced to 20 years in the federal Bureau of Prisons. He plead guilty in February to one-count of conspiracy to distribute crack cocaine and a single-count of distribution of crack. KAMEG made the arrest after a 3-month investigation.
