American Cancer Society – Christmas Card Greetings for Cancer

Local volunteers for the American Cancer Society are promoting the 37th annual “Christmas Card Greeting for Cancer” program. This popular program provides an opportunity for area residents to send “Season Greetings” to their neighbors and friends throughout Iroquois County by making a donation to the American Cancer Society.

You may notice that Marcella Markwalder has passed the responsibility on to Sandy German but the program will carry on as it has in the past. The editors of newspapers published in Iroquois County, as well as local radio station WGFA have generously consented to cooperate again this year with this worthy cause. During the month of December those who donate to the American Cancer Society using the form below will be able to say “Season Greetings” by having their name and town printed in the area newspapers they chose. They will also have the opportunity to have their message aired on WGFA.

If you would like to participate in “Christmas Card Greeting for Cancer” please fill out the form below and mail your donation before December 14, 2009. Please mail early because after December 14 publication cannot be guaranteed-all work and space are donated by those involved. And remember, your generous donation is tax deductible.
