U of I Extension Ag In The Classroom Update

Aimee Chandler writes to WGFA about the Ford-Iroquois Agriculture in the Classroom program.

Every other week I will make a new posting to the Ag Literacy Lines Blog that can be found at http://web.extension.uiuc.edu/fordiroquois/blogs/eb166/index.html. The postings are usually very short and take only a couple minutes to read.

If you’d like to learn more about the Agriculture in the Classroom program and see what we have to offer your class or school. On September 29 Aimee will be hosting a teacher workshop from 4:30-6:30 p.m. in Onarga at the Ford-Iroquois Extension office. This workshop will include hands on activities, explanation and review of the MANY resources available. Two CPDUs will be offered to who attend. Door prizes will be given and light refreshments served. I do ask that you RSVP by September 25 to make sure enough materials are available.

I also ask that if you haven’t done so please complete the Agriculture in the Classroom survey at http://web.extension.uiuc.edu/county/survey.cfm?sID=454. All those who complete the survey by October 1 will be entered into a drawing for a teacher prize pack containing books and more.
