The Watseka Area Chamber of Commerce hosted the Business- After- Hours season opener cookout on Wednesday September 2, 2009 at the American Legion Building in Legion Park in Watseka. The Chamber welcomed approximately 70 members to join them for dinner and a short informational program explaining what each chamber committee does, and some of the upcoming events for the remainder of 2009 and all of 2010.
The evening was capped off by two drawings. The door prize of $50 in Chamber Currency, was won by Ardith Haeuton, and the 50/50 drawing worth $75 was won by Janice Lubben. The Chamber would like to thank everyone for their participation and welcome them to the next BAH event to be held, on October 7, 2009 hosted by Watseka Rehab and Healthcare Center. We are also looking for businesses willing to host upcoming Business-After-Hours events for 2010. If you are interested, please give the Chamber Office a call at 815-432-2416.
