On Friday June 26, 2009 the Watseka Area Chamber of Commerce held its window contest judging. Two judges from outside the Watseka area were escorted by two committee members to each location that entered the contest.
Entries were judged in three categories, Most Original/Unique, Best Incorporation of Products, and Best Use of Theme.
It was a hard decision for the judges, but the winner were as follows: Most Original/Unique was given to the Iroquois County Historical Society, Best Incorporation of Business Products went to People’s Building Center and Best Use of Theme was awarded to Speckman Realty Inc, GMAC.
Each winner was awarded $25 in Chamber Currency, and a certificate to display in their business. Thank you to everyone who participated in this event.
