Partly cloudy to close out the month.  Illiana weather calss for a high near 42.  30% chance of rain this afternoon.

All but one incumbent came out winners in Tuesday’s Primary election in Kankakee County.  In the city of Kankakee, Bubba Cox defeated his challenger Glenn Davidson in the 1st Ward.  John Trost was an easy winner of challenger Steven Spraker in Ward 3.  The Ward 7 race saw incumbent Carl brown defeat Frances Jackson. 

The Village of Bradley had three incumbetns seeking re-election.  Two were winners…Lori Gadbois and Dennis Coy.  Bob Redmond lost by one vote to former Mayor Garry Baltazor.

The Livingston Manor was fined by the Illinois Dept of Public Health for a violation dealing with patient care.  But the future of the Manor is an issue the County Board is still wrestling with.  Changes appear obvious, but what will happen is still a question.

Flooding roads in Benton County, IN has emergency officials advising the public to be aware of potential water problems on roadways.  Melting snow and ice from the weekend has the NWS issuing flood advisories.

In Sports—-CPCI ends its season with a Sectional Loss last night in Class A basketball.  The T’wolves dropped a 54-45 OT game to Tolono Unity at the Tolono Sectional site.  St. Anne and PBL battle oppoents tonight; St. Anne and Beecher at the Herscher Sectional.  PBL meets St. Joe-Ogden at Tolono.
